The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Cindy Garza for Mason City School Board At-Large in the upcoming election to be held on November 2, 2021. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Cindy Garza is a long-time resident of Mason City and has 2 children who graduated from Mason City Public Schools. She is employed as an environmental engineer with the Iowa DNR. Cindy is dedicated to listening to the parents, community members and staff to develop a collaborative culture in the district. She will promote increasing input of all stakeholders. Cindy will also work to ensure that all students have the resources they need to be successful. The Coalition believes Cindy Garza is the candidate who will be able to allow diverse communities in Mason City to be heard.
