The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Heather Sievers for Iowa House District 40 in the upcoming election to be held on November 5, 2024. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Heather Sievers is an Iowa native who lives in Altoona. She holds 2 master’s degrees in counseling psychology and clinical nurse leadership.

Heather is the founder of Advocates for Iowa's Children and has been a tireless supporter of children and educators. She is committed to providing strong public schools, accessible and affordable healthcare, protected workers rights and mental health access. Ms. Sievers feels the current political divide is harming our state and will work with both sides of the aisle to serve all Iowans.
