Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Tiara Mays-Sims for Iowa House District 43

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce our endorsement of Tiara Mays-Sims for Iowa House District 43 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 4, 2024. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Tiara Mays-Sims is an autism parent and advocate from Central Iowa. She works as a provider relations contract manager for a managed health care organization. Tiara currently serves on the Heartland AEA board and the Red Cross of Central Iowa Board. She was one of the 2022 Business Record’s 40 Under 40 for her success in business and community service.

Tiara Mays-Sims has been a strong advocate for public education and educational support services. The Coalition believes she will be a strong representative for all the people of Iowa House District 43.
