The Iowa Unity Coalition is proud to announce the endorsement of Justyn Lewis for Des Moines City Council At-Large in the upcoming election to be held on November 2, 2021. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Mr. Lewis is a community activist and leader as well as a small business owner who is passionate about building bridges between diverse communities in Des Moines. He has extensive background in the areas of social justice and anti racism. We believe he is the right candidate to work toward correcting the inequities that exist in the areas of affordable housing and food insecurity, and will be committed to neighborhood revitalization.
