The Iowa Unity Coalition is proud to announce the endorsement of Amara Andrews for Mayor of Cedar Rapids in the upcoming election to be held on November 2, 2021.  The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Ms. Andrews is a businesswoman and community leader who understands the needs of the people of Cedar Rapids.  Her experience in the community, especially in the area of social justice, will enable her to reach out to and work with the diverse communities in the city.  We believe she is the best candidate to address and solve the inequities that exist in Cedar Rapids, especially those among marginalized groups.
