The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of V Fixmer-Oraiz for Johnson County Supervisor in the upcoming primary election to be held on June 7, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

V Fixmer-Oraiz is the CEO and founder of Astig Planning. V is a small business owner with over 15 years of training and experience in environmental and community planning. Fixmer-Oraiz's credentials include a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Iowa. V's service to the community includes Vice President of the Johnson Affordable Housing Coalition and committee co-chair of the APA Iowa Chapter’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Fixmer-Oraiz is also a board member of the Iowa City Area Business Partnership.
