The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Tiara Mays for Johnston School Board in the upcoming election to be held on November 2, 2021. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Tiara Mays is a managed care contract negotiator and member of the Red Cross of Central Iowa board. She is an advocate for special needs children and the author of “Twin Chronicles”. Her parenting experience gives her a unique perspective. The Coalition believes Ms. Mays will continue to be a strong advocate for students and families who struggle to access the educational services they need and will work to ensure the district addresses equity issues.
