The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Reverend Mary Madison for Iowa House District 31 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 7, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Reverend Mary Madison is an ordained minister, school counselor, educator and community volunteer. She and her husband, Dr. L. Keith Madison, have called West Des Moines home for over twenty years. Reverend Madison has her BA (Political Science) from St. Peters College, MA (Educational Specialist) from Seton Hall University and M. Ed. (Counseling) from Tarleton State University. She is a member of AMOS, Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, Iowa Mental Health Association and a lifetime member of the NAACP.
