The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Elinor Levin for Iowa House District 89 in the upcoming general election to be held on November 8, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Elinor Levin is a teacher and community activist. She graduated from Cornell College in Mount Vernon and worked in Iowa City as a substitute teacher as well as volunteering in local theater. Elinor now serves as president of the Iowa City Community Theater as well as being part of the South District Neighborhood Association. She is also a member of the League of Women Voters of Johnson County.

Ms. Levin supports high quality childcare for children ages 1-5 across the state and accessible, affordable healthcare for all. She believes bodily autonomy should be protected and supports reproductive rights. She is in favor of gun regulations that are evidence based.
