The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Bridget Carberry Montgomery for Iowa House District 46 in the upcoming general election to be held on November 8, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Bridget Carberry Montgomery is a member of the Urbandale City Council, small business owner and community volunteer. She previously served on the Urbandale Plan & Zoning Commission from 2009 -2017, including one year as the Chair. For nearly a decade, Bridget worked as a Neighborhood and Senior City Planner with the City of Des Moines. In 2019, Bridget was elected to the Urbandale City Council.

She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with degrees in Political Science and History and earned a graduate degree from the University of Iowa in Urban and Regional Planning with concentrations in Housing and Economic Development.
