Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Suresh Reddy for Re-Election to the Johnston City Council

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Suresh Reddy for re-election to the Johnston City Council in the upcoming election to be held on November 7, 2023. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Suresh Reddy has been a member of the Johnston City Council since 2019. Suresh is a software engineer and has lived in Johnston for nearly 20 years.  Mr. Reddy is a former member of the city’s planning and zoning board. Suresh has also volunteered with Johnston schools to ensure students get the best-possible opportunities, including leading a FIRST Lego League Robotics team, participating in PTO, and helping students access STEM programs.

Additionally, Suresh has led community fundraisers for law enforcement and first responders. His connections to the community will enable him to represent the community well.
