The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Shannon Henson for Iowa House District 36 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 7, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Shannon Henson is an attorney in Des Moines and a graduate of Drake Law School. Her experience is in advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Shannon is dedicated to advancing social and racial justice issues as well as protecting the rights of LGBTQIA Iowans. She will fight to ensure all children in Iowa receive the best education no matter where they live.
