Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Jonathan Grieder for Waterloo City Council

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Jonathan Grieder for Waterloo City Council at-large in the upcoming election to be held on November 7, 2023. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Mr. Grieder currently serves on the Waterloo City Council representing ward 2. He has taught in Waterloo since 2015 and lives in Waterloo with his wife and 2 children.

As a councilman, he has worked to ensure that Waterloo is a welcoming place for all people. Jonathan has also worked to protect the environment and provide affordable housing. He has been a leader in the fight to ban conversion therapy. Mr. Grieder is committed to building a better, stronger Waterloo.
