The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Jazmin Newton for Scott County Supervisor in the upcoming general election to be held on November 8, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Jazmin is an attorney, small business owner (Newton Law, PLC), community leader and social advocate. Currently, she is the President of the League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council #10, Deputy State Director of LULAC Iowa, Commissioner for the Davenport Affirmative Action Commission and serves on the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. 

Jazmin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the community. She will continue to be a strong voice for the people who live in Scott County and will be a welcome addition to the current board.
