The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Heather Matson for Iowa House District 42 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 7, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Heather Matson is a public policy advocate, community leader, former state legislator, and development professional. She is passionate about building community, connections, and civic engagement in every aspect of her work. Heather has served as a volunteer for many organizations in Ankeny and is a respected leader. She has a proven record of standing up for children and public schools.
