Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Bridget Carberry Montgomery for Urbandale City Council

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Bridget Carberry Montgomery for re-election to the Urbandale City Council in the upcoming election to be held on November 7, 2023. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Bridget Carberry Montgomery has been a member of the Urbandale City Council since 2020 and is a small business owner and community volunteer. She previously served on the Urbandale Plan & Zoning Commission from 2009 -2017, including one year as the Chair. For nearly a decade, Bridget worked as a Neighborhood and Senior City Planner with the City of Des Moines.

She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with degrees in Political Science and History and earned a graduate degree from the University of Iowa in Urban and Regional Planning with concentrations in Housing and Economic Development.
